A young Greek man, aged 26, was murdered in Tel Aviv last week, in yet another bloody display of recycled hatred. Along with Ionas Karussis, terrorists murdered a Georgian national, a woman of Ukrainian origin, and more.

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis called for de-escalation in the Middle East as tensions continue to rise. In his weekly government update, he stated that Greece remains "on high alert at all levels."

A memorial service was held at the Church of Hagia Sophia in Thessaloniki, northern Greece, on Saturday in memory of 26-year-old Greek student Ionas Karussis, who was killed on Tuesday with six others in a Palestinian shooting attack in Jaffa, Israel.

Hamas' military wing has claimed responsibility for a mass shooting in Tel Aviv that left seven people dead, including a Greek national, and many others wounded.

It said the two attackers, who opened fire on a boulevard and train station in Jaffa Tuesday evening, were its militants and hailed from the southern West Bank city of Hebron.
