Belgium oust Serbia from Fed Cup
BELGRADE - Belgium secured its place in next year's Fed Cup World Group II after beating Serbia in their play-off tie 3-1 in Belgrade on Sunday.
Serbia are now relegated to Europe/Africa Zone Group I.
Belgian Kirsten Flipkens brought Belgium back to World Group II following a hard fought 7-6 (10-8), 6-4 victory over Ivana Jorovic.

Ivanovic holds fifth spot, Jankovic 15th in WTA rankings
LONDON - Serbia's best female tennis player Ana Ivanovic kept hold of the fifth place while Jelena Jankovic is 15th in the new WTA rankings published Sunday, ahead of the start of the Australian Open.
Ivanovic has 4,845 and Jankovic 2590 points, while Bojana Jovanovski is back to 56th position with 910 points.
Ivanovic returns to WTA top 5
LONDON - Serbia's Ana Ivanovic will finish the 2014 season with 4,820 points and ranked as WTA No. 5.
The Serbian has won four titles in 2014 and notched the highest number of wins on the WTA tour - 58, with 17 losses.

Jovana Jaksic candidate for 'Rising Star' exhibition event
BELGRADE - Serbian tennis player Jovana Jaksic is among the candidates for playing in a WTA Finals Rising Star Exhibition, which will take place in Singapore from October 17 to 21.
Four tennis players will take part in the exhibition event, which will be held simultaneously with the closing WTA championship, two from the Asia/Pacific zone and two from the rest of the world.
Ana Ivanovic 9th, Jelena Jankovic 10th in WTA rankings
LONDON - Ana Ivanovic's good play in Cincinnati, which saw her through to the final, made Serbia once again the only country with two female tennis players among the top 10 in the world.
The success in Cincinnati also made Ivanovic Serbia's best ranked player, since she is now 9th in the WTA rankings, pushing back her compatriot Jelena Jankovic to 10th spot.
Djokovic, others play charity match for flood-hit Balkans
PARIS – Serbia’s Novak Djokovic organized an exhibition match on the Roland Garros’ central court Saturday and the proceeds will be used as aid for the people badly hit by the recent floods in Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH).
It started raining on the center court at one moment but it did not stop the tennis players from continuing the humanitarian activity.
WTA rankings: Jankovic up to eighth spot, Ivanovic 12th
LONDON - The best-ranked Serbian female tennis player holds the eighth place in the WTA rankings that were published on Monday, which is one notch up on last week, while Ana Ivanovic remained the world's No. 12.
Jankovic, who suffered a defeat in the Bogota final on Sunday, currently has 4,010 points, surpassing Russia's Maria Sharapova.
As No.12, Ivanovic has 3,280 points.

BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Youth and Sports Vanja Udovicic sent congratulations on Monday to the Serbian tennis players Ana Ivanovic and Jovana Jaksic, who played the first ever all-Serbian WTA final in the Mexican city of Monterrey.
In the final showdown late on Sunday, local time, Ivanovic defeated her young compatriot by 6-2, 6-1 and notched up her thirteenth career title.
Ivanovic beats Jaksic in Monterrey final
MONTERREY- Serbia's Ana Ivanovic won the tennis tournament in Monterrey, Mexico, by beating 20-year-old compatriot Jovana Jaksic 6-2, 6-1 early Monday in the final match that lasted just 60 minutes.
It is Ivanovic's 13th title, while Jaksic made her first appearance in a WTA final.
Ivanovic won USD 111,389 and 250 WTA points, while Jaksic won USD 55,435 and 150 WTA points.
