Scott: 2018 to be critical if EC reports are taken seriously

BELGRADE - US Ambassador to Belgrade Kyle Scott said on Friday 2018 would be a critical year for Serbia's progress towards the EU, noting the decision not to go to presidential elections was a positive step as it gave more space for the parliament "to take the actions it needs to over the coming months."

Scott hands Trump's Christmas message to Vucic

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Friday received US Ambassador to Belgrade Kyle Scott, who handed to him President Donald Trump's New Year and Christmas message.

Vucic and Scott addressed the need to continue the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, highlighting the significance of internal dialogue on Kosovo-Metohija, the presidential press office said in a statement.

Dacic receives Scott ahead of trip to Washington

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic met with US Ambassador to Belgrade Kyle Scott on Monday as part of regular bilateral consultations ahead of Dacic's trip to Washington.

While in Washington, Dacic will attend an Atlantic Council conference and have bilateral meetings with senior officials of the US administration.

Scott: No contradiction between neutrality and cooperation

BELGRADE - NATO respects Serbia's military neutrality and "there is no contradiction between neutrality for Serbia and cooperation with NATO," US Ambassador to Serbia Kyle Scott said at the 5th Belgrade NATO Week Thursday.

"Serbia has joined the partnership because Serbia wanted to join, and it benefits enormously from it," he said.
