Corruption investigation against former minister dropped
The Organized Crime Prosecution has ended its investigation against former Serbian cabinet minister Mladjan Dinkic.
The investigation was launched years ago on suspicion that he abused his official position.
DRI files charges against current, former officials
BELGRADE - The State Audit Institution (DRI) announced on Thursday that it has filed 204 requests to launch misdemeanour proceedings, 17 criminal charges and 19 corporate offence charges against current and former officials.
Dacic testifies about gov’t policy in Galenika case
BELGRADE – Serbia’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic confirmed Friday that he had testified as witnesses at the Special Court for Organized Crime regarding the Galenika case where, to his knowledge, foreign companies had been favored at the detriment of the local pharmaceutical factory.
URS continues to operate as political party
BELGRADE - The Presidency Collegium of the United Regions of Serbia (URS) decided on Tuesday the URS would continue to function as a political party, adding that they would discuss cooperation with other parties in order to create a stronger political organization.

Dinkic files resignation to position of URS leader
BELGRADE - Leader of the United Regions of Serbia (URS) Mladjan Dinkic filed a resignation to his position after the electoral debacle of his party and until the appointment of the new leader, the party will be headed by Verica Kalanovic and Veroljub Stevanovic.

Public sector reform, employment crucial to recovery
BELGRADE – Serbia’s politicians agreed Monday that the forthcoming early parliamentary elections need be followed by a public sector reform and work to reduce unemployment, simplify administrative procedures and adopt systemic laws so that Serbia could finally emerge out of transition.
URS submits slate for snap parliamentary poll
BELGRADE - The United Regions of Serbia submitted on Monday its slate, entitled Let's Work and Live for the snap parliamentary election on March 16.
The first name on the slate is that of URS leader Mladjan Dinkic, follwed yb Sasa Milenic and Verica Kalanovic.
URS Vice Preisdent Suzana Grubjesic is 6th on the list.
