Mali: 2.5 pct GDP growth confirms Serbia's good economic results

BELGRADE - Serbian Finance Minister Sinisa Mali said on Friday that, according to preliminary figures released by the national statistical office, Serbia's 2.5 pct economic growth in 2023 was in line with expectations and estimates and represented yet another confirmation of good economic results.

Mali presents Expo 2027 project to Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak

BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy PM and Finance Minister Sinisa Mali presented on Tuesday a project to build the Expo 2027 complex to Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, who is visiting Belgrade.

After the presentation, Mali gave Wozniak a basket of organic apples, as well as a replica of a 14th-century dinar coin from the era of Serbian Emperor Dusan.

Mali: We want Air Serbia to be flying to 100 destinations in 2027

BELGRADE - Serbian Finance Minister Sinisa Mali said on Monday his government wanted Air Serbia to be flying to 100 destinations on scheduled and charter flights in 2027, when the flagship carrier celebrates its 100th anniversary and when Serbia will be hosting EXPO 2027.

Mali said the number of Air Serbia flights and flight destinations was rising year by year.

Serbia's arrangement with IMF successful, to become precautionary

BELGRADE - Reputation and trust are earned only through results and we, as the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) and a country, have earned that through the results shown by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) during its second review from October 19 to 31, and we expect this to be confirmed by the IMF Executive Board on December 21, NBS Governor Jorgovanka Tabakovic said on Wednesday.
