Gojkovic: Serbia remains committed to rule of law, peace
GENEVA - Serbia remains committed to the high standards of representative democracy, rule of law, human rights and gender equality, as well as peace, security and peaceful coexistence with Balkan and European neighbors, Serbian Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic, who heads the Serbian delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), said Monday.
Serbian Farmers Say Land Law 'Encourages Corruption'
Farmers' organisations from the northern Serbian province of Vojvodina and several political parties are asking for the withdrawal of the new legislation because they claim it creates the conditions for corruption and is unfair to small farmers.

Govt allocates RSD 210 million for protected areas
ZASAVICA - The Suva Planina, Rtanj and Belanica will be declared as areas of national importance in 2015, and the Serbian government has allocated special funds to the amount of RSD 210 million as assistance to the functioning of protected areas and areas of special importance, Serbian Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection Snezana Bogosavljevic Boskovic stated on Friday.

EC seeks long-term solutions for Serbian agriculture
