Greece's coronavirus spokesman and expert on Thursday reiterated recommendations against the widespread use of face masks by the general public as a means of protection against the highly contagious novel coronavirus.
Three more Covid-19 deaths bring total to 86
Greece's Health Ministry said on Thursday three more people died in the past 24 hours in the country from the new coronavirus, which raised the total number to 86 since the start of the outbreak.
There were also 71 new infections and the new total stands at 1,955, according to Health Ministry spokesman and infectious diseases professor Sotiris Tsiodras.

Two more Covid-19 deaths bring total to 83
Greece's Health Ministry said on Wednesday two more people died in the past 24 hours in the country from the new coronavirus, which raised the total number to 83 since the start of the outbreak.
There were also 52 new infections and the new total stands at 1,884, of which 57 percent are men, according to Health Ministry spokesman and infectious diseases professor Sotiris Tsiodras.

Two new deaths from Covid-19 in Greece, total number of infections at 1,832
Greece's Health Ministry announced on Tuesday two new deaths in the past 24 hours in the country which raised the total number to 81 since the start of the outbreak, while the great majority had underlying health issues and their average age was 74 years.
Greece reports lowest Covid-19 infections since March 12
Greece on Monday reported the lowest number of new coronavirus cases since March 12, indicating a flattening of the curve, but warned against complacency.
Six more deaths from Covid-19, total number of cases rises to 1,755
Greece's Health Ministry announced on Monday 20 new coronavirus infections, with the total now at 1,755.
In his regular press conference, ministry spokesman and infectious disease expert Sotiris Tsiodras said six more fatalities from Covid-19 were recorded over the past 24 hours raising the total to 79.
