Cazanciuc: I believe DIICOT activity and prestige are untarnished
Justice Minister Robert Cazanciuc has stated, on Wednesday, that he believes the activity and prestige of the Directorate for Investigating Organised Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) remained untarnished after the arrest of DIICOT head prosecutor Alina Bica, emphasizing that he believes the matter involves individual responsibilities.
Alina Bica to stay under preventive detention
The Supreme Court of Justice on Friday denied an appeal against preventive detention filed by former head of the Directorate for Organised Crime and Terror Investigation (DIICOT) Alina Bica.
The court also denied the challenges of three other persons detained with Bica, namely expert evaluator Emil Nutiu, Lacrimioara Alexandru and Dragos Bogdan.

Supreme Court to rule today on ex DIICOT head's appeal to preventive detention decision
The High Court of Cassation and Justice will weigh on Thursday the appeal filed by former head of the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) Alina Bica to her being held in preventive detention.
