Finally the Force Awakens! Star Wars world premiere kicks off in L.A. (pics + vid)
The LA World Premiere of the latest Star Wars installment, “The Force Awakens”, took place in Los Angeles ten years after the last film. And its return to celluloid after a decade-long absence was triummphant with Stormtrooper mannequins and neon lights resembling giant lightsabers inside an opaque tent shrouding the carpet.

Social media caught fire on Wednesday after thousands of Youtube users rushed to view former Greek finance minister Yanis Varoufakis’ 1101 promo trailer. They couldn’t make heads or tails of it. The video refers to a mysterious website and claims that the “1101 are coming. They’ll change everything.” The date given for change is November 1.
