The 7th International Ephesus Opera and Ballet Festival, organized by the General Directorate of State Opera and Ballet (DOB), started on June 29 with a "Swan Lake" performance by the İzmir State Opera and Ballet on June 29 in the magnificent atmosphere of the Ephesus Ancient Theater.
Erdoğan visits CHP headquarters after 18 years to meet Özel
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan visited the Republican People's Party (CHP) headquarters for the first time in 18 years on June 11 to meet with the main opposition leader Özgür Özel.
This visit follows Özel's earlier meeting with Erdoğan at the Justice and Development Party (AKP) headquarters on May 2, marking the first such interaction between the AKP and CHP leaders since 2016.

Public figures enter parliament in new term
Several famous personalities, including a football player and a former Miss Türkiye, will serve in the 28th term of the Turkish parliament.
Former footballer and manager Ünal Karaman, who also worked as a caretaker manager for the Türkiye's national football team in 2004, entered the new parliament from the İYİ (Good) Party list in the Central Anatolian Province of Konya.

Presidential Culture and Arts Grand Award winners announced
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has announced the winners of this year's Presidential Culture and Arts Grand Awards, with late Turkish folk poet Aşık Veysel being honored with the loyalty award.
The winner of the award in the field of music was Ajda Pekkan, while Yılmaz Erdoğan received the cinema award for his screenwriting and acting.
