Opposition SDS President Boris Tadic has called on Sasa Jankovic and Vuk Jeremic to reach agreement so that only one of them runs for president.

Tadic thinks that after the announced candidacy of Tomislav Nikolic, now is the chance to for the opposition to unite and to have a joint candidate.

VIENNA - Austrian Chancellor Christian Kern will visit Belgrade late this week to meet with Serbian top officials.

He will arrive in Belgrade on Thursday evening and speak with President Tomislav Nikolic and PM Aleksandar Vucic on Friday.

BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic on Tuesday dismissed speculations he would put himself forward as a candidate in the upcoming presidential elections, adding that all details of his agreement with PM Aleksandar Vucic would become "known in day or two."

BELGRADE - The Presidency of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) on Tuesday unanimously decided to name Aleksandar Vucic as the party's candidate in the upcoming presidential elections.

The decision was announced by SNS deputy leader Nebojsa Stefanovic after the party Presidency met in Belgrade.
