President "did not receive U.S. congressman's letter"

President Tomislav Nikolic has not received a letter from a US congressman reportedly proposing "an exchange of territories," the daily Vecernje Novosti said.

Sources at the Presidency said on Monday afternoon they were unaware of the existence of such a letter, and had only heard about it "from the media."

Nikolic, ambassadors: Regional stability must be preserved

BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic on Thursday had separate meetings with the ambassadors of Russia, China and the US to brief them on the discussions held in Brussels between the Serbian delegation and Pristina representatives.

He said the conduct of the Kosovo delegation had not been aimed at reaching an agreement.

Vucic: Judiciary, Serb municipalities, Mitrovica to be on negotiation table

BELGRADE- Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic said ahead of late Wednesday's round of the Brussels talks with Pristina that there were no predefined topics but that he presumed the Kosovo judiciary, the Community of Serb Municipalities and Kosovska Mitrovica would be on the negotiation table.

The Belgrade-Pristina dialogue "must be continued and full security of citizens and stability of the region maintained."

This is what Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic and Czech Foreign Minister Lubomir Zaoralek agreed during a meeting in Belgrade on Friday, Tanjug has reported, citing a statement issued by the president's press service.

Kosovo-Serbia Talks Fail to Defuse Tensions

Diplomatic sources in Brussels said a meeting between Kosovo's President and Prime Minister, Hashim Thaci and Isa Mustafa, and their Serbian counterparts, Tomislav Nikolic and Aleksandar Vucic, failed to achieve anything.

"The meeting went terribly wrong and had no results," an anonymous diplomatic source told Deutsche Welle.
