Stefanos Tsitsipas saw his first-round match in the Olympic tennis tournament go to three sets (lasting almost 2.5 hours), but all’s well that ends. The Greek champion defeated Belgian Zizou Bergs, who had the crowd on his side, 2-1, and advanced to the second round of the Olympic Games, where he will face Briton Evans.

This occurred due to Cameron Norrie’s last-minute withdrawal from the Olympic tournament, following the earlier withdrawal of Alex De Minaur, with the Greek tennis player replacing him. Both Petros Tsitsipas and Stefanos are scheduled to debut in the singles today, Sunday (28/7).

GSTAAD - Serbian tennis player Miomir Kecmanovic is through to the semi-finals of the Gstaad ATP tournament after overcoming Belgian Zizou Bergs 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 on Friday.

Second seed Kecmanovic, who ranks 44th in the ATP rankings, won after two hours and 36 minutes of play.
