Forty-five PKK terrorists were killed, 19 terrorists were captured in nationwide operations in Turkey in the past week, interior ministry said Monday, Daily Sabahreported.

Security forces, including special operations squads from gendarmerie, police and gendarmerie commando units carried out a total of 455 anti-terror operations throughout the country.

A 10-meter mosaic, which was found by a farmer in the southeastern province of Adıyaman's Besni district, will be taken to the Gaziantep Museum.

The mosaic dates back to the fifth century B.C. of the Roman era.

Turkish MPs will be provided with new phones in order to enhance the security of their conversation privacy, Deputy Parliamentary Speaker Ahmet Aydın has stated, adding that "necessary tests" are currently being conducted.

Some 65 people were killed and 489 were injured across Turkey during three-daily Eid al-Fitr holiday, state-run Anadolu Agency reported on June 27.

A mosaic structure dating back to the 4th century has been found in the Gölbaşı district of the eastern Turkish province of Adıyaman. 

Two brothers who work locally as farmers discovered the mosaic structure, which features Ancient Roman characteristics, while they were working in their field in Gölbaşı. 

Four outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants who had previously been sought with a reward of up to one million Turkish Liras were killed in operations in the southeastern province of Adıyaman, amid the security forces' ongoing efforts to tighten their grip on militants across eastern and southeastern Turkey.

Protests have been carried out by different groups in Turkey over the past two days against the Netherlands, amid escalating row between the two countries after a Turkish minister was barred from speaking at an event in Rotterdam. 

A shopkeeper in the Kahta district of the southeastern province of Adıyaman has filed a criminal complaint against the Netherlands's king, prime minister and other government officials after Turkish ministers were banned from entering the country, escalating tensions between the Netherlands and Turkey, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.
