A passenger car loaded with a bomb mechanism but no bombs, allegedly planned to be used in a terror attack similar to the recent Ankara suicide bombing, was seized by police at Bo?aziçi University late on Feb. 26.

The death roll has risen to four after the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) killed three soldiers in two different attacks in the southeastern provinces of ??rnak and Diyarbak?r while a fourth soldier died earlier on Feb. 21 due to injuries sustained in an earlier attack.

Two soldiers and a policeman have been killed in an armed attack by outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants during an operation in the Sur district of the southeastern province of Diyarbak?r, the Turkish Army has announced. 

The statement said the attack, which occurred during an operation in Sur on Feb. 19, heavily wounded two soldiers and a policeman.

The car used in Ankara blast that killed 27 military personnel and one civilian on Feb. 17 was stolen from a vehicle rental company in the western Turkish province of ?zmir around two months ago before being sent to Diyarbak?r, according to reports.

Six soldiers have been killed while another has been heavily wounded as a PKK-placed improvise explosive device (IED) hit  a military convoy on Feb. 18 in the southeastern province of Diyarbak?r, Turkish Army announced in a statement.
