Strong Earthquake Near the Southern Shores of Turkey
A strong earthquake - 4.3 magnitude on the Richter Scale was recorded in the Mediterranean. It is felt in the southwestern part of Turkey.
The earthquake is registered at a depth of 7 km at 4.02 hours local and Bulgarian time at the southern coast of Rhodes Island.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 155 km from the Marmaris tourist region in the Turkish province of Mugla.
Nine missing as migrant boat sinks off western Turkey
12 people were killed on June 17 after a dinghy carrying migrants sank off Turkey's western coast, the state-run Anadolu news agency said, adding that 31 others had been rescued.
Muğla municipality bans street vendor sales of mussels

Marble sculpture depicts woman breastfeeding lion cub
A marble sculpture which depicts a woman breastfeeding a lion cub has been found underwater by a man in the western province of Muğla's Datça district. The one-meter-long and 57-kg sculpture, which is believed to date back to the Roman era, was delivered to the Marmaris Museum.

Bodrum Underwater as Floods, Hail Sweep the Turkish Resort Town
The Aegean resort town of Bodrum in southwestern Turkey's Muğla province was pounded with hail and heavy rains that swept away cars and left the town underwater on Thursday.
