PAO, AEK do not capitalize on Olympiakos's draw
Olympiakos dropped two points at Platanias Hanion on Saturday, but Panathinaikos and AEK drew their derby a day later failing to capitalize on that rare snag Olympiakos hit. Panionios and Xanthi did cut the distance from the top of the Super League as the two joint-second teams are now 10 points behind the leader. Two games were postponed because of frozen pitches.

Losses for AEK and PAOK, as Olympiakos marches on
Olympiakos won the top-of-the-table clash with second-placed Xanthi on Sunday to stretch its lead at the Super League table to 12 points, while AEK and PAOK are in trouble after fresh losses. Panionios has now joined Xanthi in second.

AEK stumbles again in league, but Cup draw is kind to it
AEK stumbled once again in a home game in the Super League on Monday, but was handed a relatively easy task in the Round of 16 of the Greek Cup as it bids to defend the title it landed last spring. Tuesday's draw was also kind to the other three members of Greek soccer's Big Four.
Berg goal keeps Panathinaikos going
Panathinaikos shook off another bad night in Europe on Thursday to defeat Atromitos in the league on Sunday and cut the distance from the top to four points, at least for 24 hours as leader Olympiakos is in action on Monday at PAS Giannina.

Panathinaikos enters Ouzounidis era with win over PAOK
Olympiakos stretched its lead to seven points on Sunday, pending high-flying PAS Giannina's game on Monday at Iraklis, while AEK dropped two more points on Saturday in a Super League round of games with beautiful goals but particularly few fans at the stands.
Panathinaikos hires Ouzounidis as its new coach
Following the departure of Italian manager Andrea Stramaccioni earlier on Thursday, Panathinaikos announced the hiring of Marinos Ouzounidis as its new coach.
The Athens club stated the 48-year-old manager has signed a contract for a year-and-a-half, i.e. until the end of next season.

PAOK downs AEK with a late, late goal
PAOK needed a Leo Matos goal deep into injury time to score its first big win for the season downing AEK 1-0 for the Super League in Sunday, while Olympiakos and Panathinaikos retained the top two spots with victories ahead of their clash next weekend.

A spectacular goal by Thodoris Vassilakakis gave Xanthi a famous 2-1 win at Panathinaikos on Sunday allowing Olympiakos to climb alone at the top of the Super League after its 2-0 victory over Panionios on Saturday.
