EU Commissioner Maria Gabriel: Mobile Data Prices with Macedonia and Serbia will Fall from July 1

Reducing roaming prices with neighboring Macedonia and Serbia continues to be a top priority in the work of the Bulgarian commissioner for digital economy and society, Mariya Gabriel. Today she is in Kyustendil and she has a conversation with students of "Dr. Peter Beron" Language School, which she graduated, the theme is "Young People in the Digital World".

Greeks love landlines, not very keen on email

Greeks are top-of-the-table in the European Union in their use of landline telephony, but languish at the bottom of the chart in their use of email and instant messaging. 

They are also trailing when it comes to use of internet telephony, and despite the expansion of applications such as Skype and FaceTime, very few Greeks use video-telephony as a means of communication.

Nouvelle Vague | Athens & Thessaloniki | December 1 & 2

Inspired by the movement of the same name in French cinema, French band Nouvelle Vague, known for its bossa nova covers of hits from the 1970s and 80s as well as its rotating cast of female lead vocalists, is traveling to Greece for two shows this weekend. On Friday, December 1, the band will play Athens's Fuzz Club, with tickets at 25 euros.

Swedish synth-pop artist Molly Nilsson takes the stage at Death Disco in downtown Athens on Saturday, September 30, with a setlist of tracks from her recent album, "Imaginations," as well as older work that highlights the 32-year-old's evolution from "These Things Take Time," her debut album in 2008. She is joined by Marva von Theo, a duet that draws inspiration from 1980s dark wave.
