BELGRADE - Serbia's Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic welcomed on Monday Italian Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini's appointment as the new EU Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk's appointment as the President of the European Council, stressing that both supported Serbia's EU integration.

Joint foreign policy a must for joining EU

BELGRADE - Serbia's EU accession talks are progressing well, but Belgrade will have to comply with the joint foreign policy at the time of joining the EU, says Peter Stano, spokesperson of EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fuele.

Since the start of Serbia's accession talks with the EU, 18 out of 35 chapters have been subject to analytical screening, Stano said.
