Kiss of the Spider Woman | Athens | August 25
The Athens Open-Air Film Festival presents the 1986 Brazilian-American drama "Kiss of the Spider Woman," directed by Hector Babenco, adapted by Leonard Schrader from the novel by Manuel Puig and starring William Hurt, Raul Julia and Sonia Braga.

Acropolis Birthday | Athens | June 20
The Acropolis Museum celebrates its eighth birthday on Tuesday, June 20. With free admission from 8 p.m. onwards, the museum will screen a film about recent findings from the caves around the Acropolis, sites that were first inhabited in prehistoric times, and developed into important places of worship in antiquity.

Acropolis Museum to take part International Museum Day (programme)
The Acropolis Museum will be taking part in worldwide International Museum Day and the European Nights of Museums celebrations taking place and around May 18 with a series of actions and events. The theme chosen for 2017 is “Museums and contested histories: Saying the unspeakable in museums”.
German president visits Acropolis Museum
