New art space opens in Istanbul
Loft Art, an art space realized by Akfen Holding as part of a social responsibility project, has been opened at Nisbetiye On in Istanbul's Beşiktaş district.
Ayşe Jaber is the art director of the venue.
The works of young artists will be featured in the new venue, which opened with an exhibition titled "Humano."

3.76 pct of shares in TAV Airports sold to foreign corporate buyers
Tepe Construction and Sera Yapı, two TAV Airports shareholders, have sold more than 13.7 million shares at 19.85 Turkish Liras per share in the company, corresponding to 3.76 percent of stake in the capital of the company, to foreign corporate buyers, TAV said in a press release on Sept. 12.
The shareholders have pledged not to sell any more shares for 270 days.
Turkey's Akfen sells 40 pct stake in Mersin port to Australia's IF Investors for $869 mln
Turkey's Akfen Holding has announced it signed a deal to sell a 40 percent stake in the Mersin Port to Australia's IFM Investors for $869 million.
The share of Akfen in the port declined to 10 percent after the deal was signed.
In a statement late on July 31, the company said Akfen Holding Chair Hamdi Akın would keep his chairmanship position in the port.

France's ADP to buy additional stake in Turkey's TAV Airports for $160 million, eyeing expansion in new markets
Turkey's Akfen has said it signed an agreement on June 9 to sell its remaining 8.12 percent stake in TAV Airports to France's Aeroports de Paris (ADP) for $160 million.
The French company plans to expand into new markets in the Middle East, Central Asia, Europe and Africa as well as new areas within Turkey along with TAV, according to company representatives.
Phoenix Solar to build 11.2 MWp power plant in Turkey for Akfen
Phoenix Solar Yenilenebilir Enerji A.Ş., the newly established Turkish subsidiary of Germany's Phoenix Solar AG, said March 20 it was awarded an order by a consortium led by Akfen Renewable Energy, the energy arm of Turkey's Akfen Holding, to build a photovoltaic power plant with a total capacity of 11.2 MWp in the Black Sea province of Amasya.

Turkey's Akfen Holding will make investments worth over 6 billion Turkish Liras ($1.7 billion) in 2017, with the construction of giant urban hospital projects and energy projects taking the lion's share, Akfen Holding and MIP Chair Hamdi Akın said at a press meeting to open the East Med Hub Terminal in Mersin International Port (MIP) on Dec. 15.
