"Sunny Beach" has been recognized as one of the most affordable holiday resorts in Europe, according to a recent study by a British tourism publication. This recognition follows its inclusion in the Top 100 ranking of the world's most famous beaches.

After comparing prices in 42 destinations, for typical travel purchases such as drinks in local bars and restaurant meals, the Black Sea resort of Sunny Beach supplanted the Algarve as the top option for budget breaks.
