Bulgaria's Vivacom sees IPTV Growth
Bulgarian service provider Vivacom saw strong growth for its IPTV offering in the year to June. The company's IPTV base rose by 15.6% for the 12 months to June 30, and IPTV now accounts for 47.3% of its total of 456,000 pay TV subscribers.

Brussels, Athens and Piraeus are among the cities London insurance brokers could consider for European Union subsidiaries, with time running out to plan for a hard Brexit, a trade body said on Wednesday.
The Lloyd's of London commercial insurance market is setting up an EU subsidiary in Brussels to start writing business from January 2019.

AIG Selling Its Insurance Business in Bulgaria
US multinational insurance corporation AIG is withdrawing from the insurance business in Bulgaria as part of its decision to leave several markets.
Earlier in October, it announced it would sell some of its Latin American and Eastern European businesses to Canadian company Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited.

Vienna Insurance Group Beefs up Presence in Bulgaria
Bulgaria's Bulstrad, part of Vienna Insurance Group (VIG), has completed the acquisition of the country's bancassurer UBB-AIG, VIG said on Tuesday.
Simultaneously with the acquisition, a cooperation agreement with United Bulgarian Bank (UBB) has been signed, VIG said in a statement.
Bulgarian Businessman Reportedly Acquires Vivacom for EUR 330 M
The Bulgarian businessman Spas Rusev has reportedly acquired the leading Bulgarian telecommunications company Vivacom after a bidding, which lasted for nearly sixteen hours.
According to media reports, he won the auction by offering EUR 330 M, Darik radio reports.
The other bidder was the Greek businessman Panos Germanos, who is owner of the Olympia Group.
