Kilitbahir Castle Museum to reopen in New Year
Kilitbahir Castle was built in 1462 on the European side of the Çanakkale Strait under the supervision of Yakup Bey, the Sanjak Bey of Gallipoli, to prevent European states from aiding the Byzantine Empire. Designed by the renowned architect of the time, Muslihiddin, the fortress has been serving as a castle museum with its renewed appearance since 2018.

Government plans $19 billion investment in transport in 2025
The Turkish government plans to invest 662.6 billion Turkish Liras ($19b billion) under several transport programs next year, according to the draft 2025 budget.
The government is pouring money into the transport infrastructure to keep up with fast technological developments in the industry.
Cultural Road Festival moves to Çanakkale
The ninth stop of the Turkish Cultural Road Festival, organized in 16 cities this year by the Culture and Tourism Ministry to contribute to Türkiye's brand value, will be the northwestern province of Çanakkale.
Çanakkale will host a variety of events such as concerts, exhibitions, workshops, talks and gastronomy experiences for nine days during the festival from Aug. 31 to Sept. 8.
