Djokovic through to Australian Open quarter-finals

MELBOURNE - Serbia's top-ranked tennis player Novak Djokovic is through to the Australian Open quarter-finals after defeating Australian Alex de Minaur 6-2, 6-1, 6-2 on Monday.

Djokovic, who won after slightly over two hours of play, will next face Russian Andrey Rublev, who defeated Dane Holger Rune 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 4-6, 7-6 (11-9).

The match is scheduled for Wednesday.
