Bulgaria's top male tennis player Grigor Dimitrov on Tuesday defeated Vasek Pospisil (Canada) at the Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati, Ohio.
After his 7:6, 7:6 victory in a match which many described as hard and even, Dimitrov became the first player to find a spot in round three of the tournament.

Bulgaria's top male tennis player Grigor Dimitrov proceeded on Monday to the second round of the Internazionali BNL d'Italia in Rome.
Dimitrov defeated Jerzy Janowicz from Poland with 6:3, 7:6 (4) in a match, which lasted just over an hour and a half.
The Bulgarian achieved one break in the first set and prevailed in the tiebreak of the second set, claiming the final victory.

Dimitrov defeated on Tuesday Donald Young from the USA with 6:4, 3:0 after retirement of the US player in the second set due to an injury.
Djokovic reaches Indian Wells semi-finals via walkover
BELGRADE - Serbia's Novak Djokovic has been gifted a place in the Indian Wells semi-finals when Bernard Tomic of Australia pulled out citing a back injury.
Tomic's withdrawal was announced a few hours before the start of Thursday's program cancelling the match scheduled for Friday 03:00 CET.

INDIAN WELLS - The world's number one tennis player Novak Djokovic reached quarterfinals at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells (California), after defeating John Isner of the United States 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) on Thursday morning (CET).
On his way to semis, Djokovic will next face Bernard Tomic of Australia who previously outplayed his compatriot Thanasi Kokkinakis 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.

Tennis-Djokovic books Paris Masters final spot, plays Raonic
PARIS, - World number one Novak Djokovic progressed to the final of the Paris Masters, after beating Kei Nishikori of Japan in the semifinals 6-2, 6-3 on Saturday.
The job was easier for Serbia's best tennis player than what had been expected, given Nishikori's victory over Djokovic in the last match between them, the semifinals of this year's US Open.
