More than 2,500 Covid cases logged in past three days
Ljubljana – A total of 2,664 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Slovenia from Friday to Sunday in what is practically level with the figure a week ago, fresh official data shows. A total of three Covid patients died. Compared to the week before, the combined case count is nearly 2% up.

Cases were reported after 1,651 tests were performed, meaning positive results were reported in 17 percent of tests.

One thousand and forty-one new cases of coronavirus were registered in the last 24 hours in Bulgaria. 12 confirmed infected have died, according to data from the Unified Information Portal.
The figures are slightly higher than a week ago. Last Saturday, 1,024 new cases of coronavirus and 10 deaths were registered in our country.
No Covid deaths on Wednesday as cases fall
Ljubljana – A total of 1,233 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Slovenia on Wednesday, almost a quarter fewer than the same day a week ago. No patients with Covid-19 died, data from the Health Ministry shows. A total of 88 patients still require hospital treatment for Covid as their main condition, including 11 who need intensive care.

NIJZ proposes two-tier Covid system for autumn, winter
Ljubljana – The National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) presented on Thursday a two-phase approach to dealing with the coronavirus this autumn and winter, with epidemiologist Mario Fafangel underlining the importance of predictability of measures.
COVID-19 in Bulgaria: Duration of the Isolation of Patients is Reduced from Today
The duration of the isolation of patients with COVID-19, as well as the quarantine for contact persons, is shortened from today, August 18. Ljubljana – A total of 2,591 cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Slovenia on Tuesday, more than a third more than a week earlier, which may be attributed to reduced testing on public holiday on Monday. One patient died, Health Ministry data shows.

The new cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria during the past 24 hours are 1,350 with 6,713 tests (20.11% positive), according to the data of the Unified Information Portal.
For the previous 24 hours, these indicators were respectively 1864 and 8845 (21.07%).
