UN Relief for Palestine refugees worth 30 mln euros
In the context of the efforts to help addressing the plight of the refugees in the wider Middle East region, the European Union (EU) announced that it will support Palestine refugees with fresh funding totalling 30 million euros.
French telecoms firm says Israel move purely business
French telecoms firm Orange said on June 5 that its decision to withdraw its brand from the Israeli market was a purely business decision, insisting: "We love Israel".
The company's chairman and chief executive Stephane Richard said an international campaign to boycott Israel in response to its decades-old occupation of the Palestinian territories had played no part in the decision.

Netanyahu's address to the US Congress
I am not an American. If I was, I would be questioning how the elected deputies of my Congress could allow a foreign leader - especially one who is contributing nothing to world peace - to come to my legislature and try to undermine the elected president of my country for trying to contribute to world peace.

UN halts Gaza house repairs saying donors failed to pay up
The UN agency for Palestinian refugees said on Jan. 27 that it cannot afford to repair Gaza homes damaged in last year's war with Israel because donors have failed to pay.
"The agency has exhausted all funding to support repairs and rental subsidies," the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) said in a statement.
