Yusuf Islam visits Syrian refugees in Turkey's southeast

British musician Yusuf Islam, formerly known as Cat Stevens, visited Syrian refugees living in the ?ahinbey district of the southeastern province of Gaziantep on April 23. 

Islam was accompanied by Prime Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu's daughter, Sefure Davuto?lu, in his visit to the Güneykent Youth Center, where the Syrian refugees are receiving education. 

European leaders to visit Turkey's south over migrant crisis

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, European Council President Donald Tusk and European Commission First Vice President Frans Timmermans will pay a visit on April 23 to the southern province of Gaziantep, where they aim to take stock of the implementation of the March 18 EU-Turkey deal and discuss the next steps.
