Bulgaria, Greece 'Not Letting in Syria Refugees from Edirne', Turkey Says
Turkey is keeping hundreds of refugees in because of resistance from Bulgaria and Greece, Trade Minister Cenap A?ç? has announced.
His comments come as Syrian refugees held on Saturday a demonstration in the southwestern city of Edirne, demanding that authorities let them leave for either Bulgaria or Greece.
Neighboring states not taking refugees: Turkish minister
Syrian refugees hoping to cross the Turkish border into Greece or Bulgaria can leave, but neighboring countries are not taking them in, Turkey's Trade Minister Cenap A?ç? said on Sept. 19.
Turkey and Germany agree on refugee policy
Turkey and Germany are in full consensus on the refugee crisis, Turkish Foreign Minister Feridun Sinirlio?lu has said, adding Germany's views on the issue were the most similar to Turkey's among European countries.
"Germany's attitude should be an example to others in Europe," Sinirlio?lu said, speaking at a press conference with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

EU will not close its doors to refugees: EU term president
The European Union will not close its borders to refugees, its term president Luxemburg Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn has said in Ankara, while noting that the EU is working on financial aid for Turkey to contain Syrian refugees within the country.
4-year old Syrian girl drowns off coast of Turkey
According to Turkish news agency Anadolu, a 4-year old Syrian girl was found dead off the coast of western Turkey near the area of Cesme, opposite the Greek island of Chios. Turkish coast guards managed to rescue 14 Syrian refugees, 8 of which were children, when the boat they were in sank in the Aegean as they were attempting to enter Greece.

Albania Would Welcome Refugees, Rama Says
Prime Minister Edi Rama, who was visiting Puglia in southern Italy, told the online edition of Corriere Della Sera on Tuesday that Albania would welcome Syrian refugees - although refugees crossing the Balkans towards Germany had largely bypassed Albania so far.
