Iraqi Kurdish PM says US-led coalition against ISIL faces long war

Iraq's Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani warned that despite  victories in the war against Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), the global coalition against the group was inadequate and predicted a campaign to retake the Iraqi city of Mosul would not happen before the fall.
  

Iraqi Kurdish PM set to visit Ankara

The prime minister of Iraq's Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), Nechirvan Barzani, is set to arrive in Turkey on the night of Dec. 18, ahead of talks with Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tanju Bilgiç has announced.

The meeting between Davutoğlu and Barzani is expected to take place on Dec. 19 in Istanbul, diplomatic sources said.

Davutoğlu invites Masoud Barzani to Turkey

Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu has extended an invitation to Iraqi Kurdish leader Masoud Barzani to visit Turkey.

Davutoğlu spoke on the phone with Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) leader Barzani separately on late Nov. 26 about the latest security situation in Kirkuk.

Thousands of rich Iraqi Kurds take long way to Turkey

A total of 6,000 Iraqis, mostly the rich, are flocking to Turkey every day for a stay in Istanbul, botox, permanent make-up or hair therapy.
