Turkey has asked authorities in Geneva to remove an exhibition picture that blames President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an for the death of a Turkish teen injured during anti-government demonstrations, a Swiss official said April 25.    

Violent clashes broke out between Turkish police and protesters in Constantinople Friday, when demonstrators were marching to mark the 2 year anniversary of the death of a 15-year old boy in anti-government demonstrations.

Berkin Elvan, a young boy who was shot with a tear gas canister during the Gezi Park incidents in 2013 and died some nine months later, was commemorated on March 11, the second anniversary of his death. Along with Elvan's parents, the relatives of other Gezi victims Ali ?smail Korkmaz, Ahmet Atakan and Abdullah Cömert also attended the commemoration in Istanbul.

A legal investigation has revealed the identity of the police officer who shot the youngest victim of the Gezi Park protests, 15-year-old Berkin Elvan, almost three years after a tear gas canister that fatally injured Elvan was fired on June 2013. 

Two suspected suicide attackers, including a suspect in the killing of leading industrialist Özdemir Sabanc? in 1996, were planning a terrorist attack in the Turkish capital of Ankara, according to a police statement.
