Bombing of the Gaza Strip

Israeli strikes early Sunday killed 19 people in Gaza, including four who were sheltering in a tent camp for displaced people inside a hospital complex.

An Israeli strike earlier yesterday hit a tent camp housing displaced people in the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, killing four people, including one woman, and injuring others, Gaza's Health Ministry said.

At least 29 Palestinians have lost their lives and many more are wounded following an Israeli airstrike on a displaced persons' camp near a school in southern Gaza, as reported by the BBC.

Health officials in Gaza said Israeli air strikes on Saturday killed at least 24 people in the territory's north, a day after the International Committee of the Red Cross said 22 people were killed in shelling that damaged its office.

The Gaza City strikes added to at least 120 deaths over the previous 48 hours which the health ministry in Hamas-run Gaza reported earlier Saturday.
