Kapa research exit poll: ND seen winning outright majority
The first exit poll by Kapa Research after Sunday's general elections, shows that Kyriakos Mitsotakis and his party have likely secured a safe outright majority to form a single-party government.
KKE secretary-general Koutsoumpas votes in Lamia
Greek Communist Party secretary-general Dimitris Koutsoumpas voted in Lamia on Sunday and called on Greek voters to give his party a strong mandate.
"Until voting stations close tonight we must all be there to make the Greek Communist Party strong and take it higher, as this is the only way to have a strong, popular, combative opposition," he said.

Conservative New Democracy enjoys a 21.5 percentage point over its main rival, leftist SYRIZA, according to a new opinion poll.
Conducted by Marc for ANT1, the poll put New Democracy on 39.5% and SYRIZA on 18%.

With the election looming, conservative New Democracy has a 21.7-percentage point lead over main opposition SYRIZA, according to a poll of voter intentions based on expected valid votes conducted by Alco on behalf of Alpha TV and presented on Monday evening.

32 parties and independents to contest June 25 election
A total of 32 parties, coalitions and independents have been given the green light to contest the June 25 general election, following a decision by the Supreme Court on Thursday evening.
The names of the electoral entities are (in alphabetical order):
Tasoulas reelected Parliament speaker
Konstantinos Tasoulas has been reelected as the speaker of Parliament with 270 votes.
Lawmakers from New Democracy, SYRIZA, PASOK, and Greek Solution voted in favor, while Communist Party (KKE) MPs voted "present."
In a roll call vote with 296 participating MPs, 270 voted "yes" and 26 voted "present."
