Turkey plans to start administering third dose of COVID vaccine in July
Turkey is planning to start administering a third dose of a COVID-19 vaccine in July while hoping to fully inoculate 70 percent of the population by the end of September.
Over 7.7 mln jabs administered in past week
Turkey administered over 7.77 million doses, including first and second shots, of COVID-19 vaccines in the last seven days, according to official figures released on June 20.
In total, the country has given over 41.48 million doses since it launched a mass inoculation drive in mid-January.

Turkey administers more than 1.53 mln vaccine shots yesterday
Turkey has administered more than 1.53 million coronavirus vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, the country's health minister announced on June 19.
"The number of vaccine doses have been shot until midnight is 1.53 million doses," Fahrettin Koca said on Twitter.

Turkey has administered over 1.58 million shots of COVID-19 vaccines in the last 24 hours, the country's health minister announced on June 17.
"Today, the 1.5 millionth dose of vaccine was administered at 09.43 p.m. Our vaccination squads delivered 82,232 vaccine doses in over two hours," Fahrettin Koca said on Twitter.
Turkey administers over 1.41 mln vaccine jabs in one day
Turkey administered more than 1.41 million coronavirus vaccine doses in the past 24 hours, breaking Tuesday's record, the country's health minister said on June 16.
"As of midnight, 47,314 healthcare workers administered over 1.41 million vaccine jabs at 18,584 health centers," Fahrettin Koca said on Twitter.

The daily virus cases have declined sharply over the past weeks, easing from more than 60,000 in mid-April to around 6,000 lately.
