Bulgarian Agriculture State Fund to Finance Broadband Internet Project for Small Towns and Villages
The "Agriculture" State Fund announced a tender for projects for the building up broadband Internet network in villages and small towns in Bulgaria. A separate budget worth of BGN 82 million is allocated for financing of the projects. These are funds provided under the Rural Development Program and the aim of the projects is to achieve 100% coverage of the country with fast internet.

Greece submits request for return of 1,450 failed asylum seekers to Turkey
Greece has submitted a request to the European Commission and the EU's border agency Frontex, for the immediate return of 1,450 migrants whose asylum requests have been rejected, the country's Migration Ministry announced on Thursday.
From the 1,450 individuals that entered Greece from Turkey 995 are in Lesvos, 180 in Chios, 128 in Samos and 187 in Kos, the ministry said.

Filoxenia program for refugees comes to an end
The Filoxenia program providing temporary accommodation to asylum seekers at state-leased hotels has ended, the Migration Ministry announced Thursday.
It said that the lease agreement with hotels across the country will be terminated within the next few days.

Migrants, Refugees Spurn Return to Torched Camp in Bosnia
After locals in the town of Bihac in northwest Bosnia protested against plans to relocate migrants and refugees from the torched Lipa camp to the Bira centre, inside the town, Bosnia ordered its armed forces to set up new tents in the Lipa camp where the migrants can stay until the winter adaptation of the camp is completed.
