Terror halts education in southeast Turkey
Education services have ground to a halt in a number of southeastern Turkish towns during curfews imposed to conduct casualty-free military operations against outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants, daily Hürriyet has reported.

Seven militants from the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) have been killed in military operations in the southeastern town of Derik, a district in the southeastern province of Mardin, while one soldier was killed and another was injured.

One soldier killed in PKK attack in Turkey's southeast
One soldier was killed on Nov. 30 in an attack by the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in the Derik district of the southeastern province of Mardin, where a curfew had been declared by security forces, the General Staff has stated.
PKK militants attacked a military vehicle with rocket-propelled weapons, killing one soldier and injuring another, according to initial reports.
