17-year-old Boy Jumped from the Eighth Floor of a Compartment Block and Survived
A 17-year-old boy jumped from the eighth floor of a block of flats on Han Tervel Street in Dobrich, police said.
It was found that the incident was about 11:10 am yesterday. The boy fell on a Chevrolet car. He was immediately taken to hospital in Dobrich with multiple incisional wounds and a vertebral fracture without risk to life, Darik said.

The Specialised Anticorruption Unit of Sofia City Prosecutor's Office (SCP) has pressed charges against Steliyan Mitev over an intentional failure to fulfill his obligations while director of the regional agriculture directorate in Dobrich, the Prosecutor's Office said.
Mitev is currently head of the Land Relations and Management Directorate at the Ministry of Agriculture.

Major Roads in NE Bulgaria Open, but Conditions Remain Heavy
There are severe conditions on several key roads across northeastern Bulgaria and elsewhere in the country, outgoing Regional Development Minister Lilyana Pavlova has said.
There are gale-force winds at a speed above 60 km/h in the northeasternmost regions of Silistra, Shumen and Dobrich, she has added.

36 Iraqis who fled from the refugee camp in Harmanli have been detained by the Regional Prosecutor's Office in General Toshevo. They attempted to leave the territory of Bulgaria in the direction of Romania.
They have been indicted on criminal charges.
