The Chair of the Bulgarian Federation of Industrial Energy Consumers has said that a potential power price hike will not affect big enterprises due to the competitive environment.
In a Monday interview for the Bulgarian National Radio, Konstantin Stamenov suggested that the country lacked an electricity market.

Market liberalisation to bring higher electricity prices
BELGRADE - The electricity market will most likely be open for households and small consumers from July 1, 2014, but an open market will also result in higher electricity prices, a conference on the regional electricity market was told on Wednesday.
Large Bulgarian Companies Buy Electricity from Abroad
An increasing number of large Bulgarian companies buy electricity from abroad, said the chairperson of the Institute for Energy Management Ivanka Dilovska at an energy forum.
