‘If we forget, we are guilty’
On November 29, 2023 an opulent "Memorial of the Nation's Immortals" was inaugurated at the Ministry of National Defense. Its core is a large altar with an eternal flame for the country's fallen since it became a nation. On each side of the altar are a series of panels that converge on the 16-meter pole bearing the Greek flag that stands at the head of the altar.

After the participants gathered in front of the Eternal Flame, a well-known memorial dedicated to victims of World War II, a few hundred people marched through Tito Street, Sarajevo's main street, and ended in front of the state-level parliament.

Sokolov: Tragic events of 1999 still echoing across Europe
