European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo

Oliver Ivanovic, who was arrested in late January of last year, says that he was "not framed either by Albanians or Serbs" - but by "politicos from EULEX."

The leader of the Civil Initiative (GI) SDP is currently on trial in Kosovska Mitrovica on war crimes charges.

According to a statement released by Pristina Airport, one person was injured when the helicopter crashed during a training exercise at around 3pm.

EULEX said in a written statement that the helicopter is owned and operated by the Starlite Aviation company, which has a contract with the mission to provide transportation services.

EULEX helicopter crashes in Pristina

PRISTINA -- A helicopter of the EU mission in Kosovo crashed at Pristina airport on Tuesday, leaving several people injured, a NATO spokesperson has told Reuters.

"An EULEX helicopter crashed at Pristina airport... There are some injuries and we are checking," he said.

EU wants Kumanovo clashes investigated before it acts

BRUSSELS -- The European Commission has stressed that the clash "between the police and armed persons in Kumanovo must be appropriately clarified."

This must happen "before the EU acts in this regard," the Beta news agency reported from Brussels on Tuesday.

EU foreign policy chief "treats Kosovo as state"

European Union foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini "has continued to treat Kosovo as a state," Beta is reporting.

This comes "despite EU's neutral position (on Kosovo's status)," the agency added in a report on Tuesday.

Two weeks after a report was published concluding that the EU rule-of-law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) had reacted appropriately to corruption claims within its ranks, the prosecutor who unearthed the claims described the document as a disappointment.

The EU rule-of-law mission, EULEX, on Monday said it had found human remains in a village cemetery in the Skenderaj/Srbica area of Kosovo after a villager provided information.

EP Rapporteur for Kosovo Ulrike Lunacek has said that a report that found no evidence of corruption in EU's mission in Kosovo, EULEX, "is only the first step."

The Austrian MEP called for "a full investigation into the work of the EU rule of law mission."
