Beer cans bear witness to animal extinction
Slovenian microbrewery Bevog and the National Institute of Biology have joined forces to raise awareness of endangered animal species. Bevog is rolling out a limited collection of beer in cans depicting animals at risk of extinction to support research of endangered grassland ecosystems with a donation to the institute.

Ministry protects all plants seeds of Turkey’s flora in 32 gene banks
The Turkish Agriculture and Forestry Ministry has been storing the seeds of all kinds of plants grown across the country in some 32 gene banks in a bid to conserve the rich flora of Turkey from going extinct, the head of the project said on April 30.
