The Bulgarian Yogurt is now a Protected Designation of Origin in the EU
The Bulgarian yogurt now has a protected designation of origin, said on social media the former Deputy Minister of Agriculture Georgi Sabev, who led the protection procedure during the caretaker government.
He emphasized that this is the strongest form of protection against counterfeit foods in the European Union and only a few other such products in the EU have this privilege.
The Annual Inflation in Bulgaria falls below 10%
For June, inflation in Bulgaria decreased to 8.7 percent compared to a year earlier and for the month a deflation of minus 0.4 percent was reported, i.e. prices decrease compared to the month of May. This is the second time this has happened since the beginning of this year.

Another Asian country will produce Bulgarian Yogurt
Mongolia is the second Asian country after Japan that will produce Bulgarian yogurt with the Lactobacillus bulgaricus bacteria. An agreement on the use of the license was signed between the state company "LB Bulgaricum" and one of the largest Mongolian food production companies - APU Company, the Ministry of Economy reports.
Stoking hate

Sarantis brothers: The investment and acquisition barrage of the milkmen from Grevena
In June 1985, a small family cheese factory just outside Trikala, on the road to Pyli, took its first steps, with just five employees. Stergios Sarantis, his wife Zoe, their two sons, Takis and Michalis and a worker, who worked even on Easter day so as not to lose the milk of the day.
This was the whole workforce of the TYRAS (Cheese-making firm Brothers Sarantis).
Milk products output increases in 2021
Nearly all products made of milk increased in Turkey last year, although drinking milk output decreased, according to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) on Feb. 14.

Greek yogurt “conquers” Germany
Greek yogurt is currently galloping in the German market, with Greek exports showing a 21% increase over the last five years. In fact, in a market where the per capita consumption reaches 15 kg per year, the growth margins remain significant, despite the problems of unfair competition faced by Greek companies from "imitations".

Milk production rises 3.3 pct in Q1
Turkey's cow milk production rose by 3.3 percent in the first quarter of this year compared to last year, the country's statistical authority revealed on May 12.
The amount of cow milk collected by the integrated dairies reached 2.6 million tons from January to March, TÜİK data showed.

Any doctor will tell you: one of the signs of depression is the loss of desire to keep things around you tidy.
