The artifacts unearthed during excavations at Fethiye Castle in the western province of Muğla, including a statue head, jewelry, arrowheads, ceramic vessels, coins, and skeletons, have been analyzed in a laboratory, dating the castle's history back 2,600 years.
Cargo ship rescues 81 migrants off southern Peloponnese
A Panamanian-flagged cargo ship brought 81 men, women and children safely to shore in Kalamata in the southwestern Peloponnese on Sunday, after the smuggling boat they were sailing in ran into trouble off the coast of Pylos, state broadcaster ERT reported on Tuesday.
Greek authorities processed the passengers of the vessel and have arrested four on charges of migrant smuggling.

Paraglider dies after clash in Fethiye, 2 injured
Orkut Baysal, one of the athletes of the National Paragliding Team, lost his life as two parachutes collided and fell during the landing in southwestern province of Muğla's Fethiye district.
On April 29, 30-year-old professional paraglider Orkut Baysal jumped from the 1,700-meter runway of Babadağ in Ölüdeniz neighborhood with Andaç Ünsal, whom he was currently training.
