Demand still strong for sailing holidays this summer
Renting boats became very popular at the height of COVID-19 for those who could afford it, as it offered isolated vacation, but even though the pandemic situation is improving, sailing holiday has not fallen out of favor, on the contrary, demand for boat rentals is only growing stronger, according to people from the industry.

The Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Ministry has started to demolish some 300 unlicensed constructions in the world-famous Göcek region in the southwestern province of Muğla.

Starting Wednesday, Britons are traveling to Turkey without compulsory hotel quarantine upon return, a move which eases travel and tourism between the two countries.

Gladiator, Braveheart actor dies in Turkey resort
Scottish actor Mike Mitchell, who starred in Gladiator and Braveheart, has died at the Turkish holiday resort of Fethiye, local media reported on July 25. He was 65.
He is believed to have died of a heart attack, the Demirören News Agency (DHA) reported.
The actor, who was on holiday in Fethiye in southwest Turkey, was found dead in a cabin at a marina, it said.

Turkey to drop PCR test obligation from 16 countries
Turkey's Health Ministry said on May 2 that visitors from 16 countries and regions will not be required to present a negative PCR test for traveling to the country.
The countries and regions included Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Israel, Japan, the U.K., Latvia, Luxembourg, Ukraine, and Estonia, according to the ministry.
