Logar talks migration and Afghanistan with Spanish counterpart

Madrid – Foreign Minister Anže Logar met his Spanish counterpart Jose Manuel Albares in Madrid on Monday to exchange views on current EU and international issues. The pair discussed migration, the situation in Afghanistan, climate change, efforts to tackle the impact of Covid-19 and economic recovery, Logar’s ministry said.

C5 ministers call for coordinated border measures ahead of summer season

Bratislava – The foreign ministers of the Central 5, including Slovenia’s Anže Logar, discussed on Thursday possible relaxation of Covid-19 border restrictions during the summer season. They agreed that coordinating and informing each other about measures was necessary so that movement of people and business is not excessively restricted.

Foreign ministers of Slovenia, Japan call for boosting cooperation

Ljubljana – Foreign Minister Anže Logar received his Japanese counterpart Toshimitsu Motegi on Friday with the pair calling for enhancing cooperation between Slovenia and Japan both in business and politics, as Slovenia sees potential in high-tech. The pair also exchanged views on the Western Balkans and the Indo-Pacific region.

Logar and his counterparts from Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia will talk about Slovenia’s EU Council presidency priorities and efforts to contain the coronavirus pandemic.
