Turkish aid group TADD donates solar kits to Uganda
The Association of Friends of All Africa (TADD), a Turkish aid organization, has donated an assortment of humanitarian items to the people of Kamuli District in eastern Uganda.
The donations include solar kits, which will go a long way in providing lighting to homes.

Turkey, Libya ink deal to enhance trade, economic ties
Turkey and Libya signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to boost trade and economic ties, the Turkish trade minister said on Aug. 13.
The deal will lay the groundwork for resolving ongoing issues between Turkish firms and Libyan employers, setting new investments and undertaking new projects, Ruhsar Pekcan said at a meeting held in Turkey's capital Ankara.

Turkish ship suspected of carrying arms to Libya spotted in central Med
A Turkish ship suspected of carrying arms to Libya, violating a UN-imposed arms embargo, has been spotted in the central Mediterranean Sea in an area monitored by European Union vessels participating in Operation Irini, Kathimerini understands.
The cargo vessel is accompanied by two Turkish frigates.
As Turkey plans to start drilling in coming months, Greece seeking international support

Greece's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has welcomed Egypt's initiative to mediate for peace in civil-war-torn Libya.
"We welcome Egypt's new initiative to resolve the Libyan Gordian knot," the ministry's sunday announcement says.
