Entrepreneurs are exploiting the Greek economic crisis to market their wares. Soon after the launching of Grexit vodka on June 30, comes a new product – a tower defense game during the defense era but using steam-powered machines and robots as well. The game requires young “recruits” to digitally defend Greece against hordes of enemies trying to take over the country.

While Greece sinks further into a political and economic quagmire, El Pais reports that a small group of ECB and Commission experts are setting in motion a “firewall” of protection for member-states in case of Grexit, an alleged plan called … “Operation Albania”.

Cameron quoted as saying Grexit might be better option for Athens

Newly re-elected British PM David Cameron, whose UK is proudly not a eurozone member, was reportedly quoted on Friday as saying “Grexit” might “be better” for Greece.
Guardian ran the story late in the afternoon, attributing the comment to a “leaked diplomatic document”.

A German with a sense of humor is marketing Grexit, the drink, with a taste of vodka lemonade. The product is being launched at a time when a default looms dangerously close for Greece. Creator Uwe Dalhoff registered the label in January, anticipating a Grexit, and timing the drink to coincide with one.
