Alt. Tourism Minister meets with Greek President
President Prokopis Pavlopoulos met on Saturday with Alternate Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura at the presidential mansion. Kountoura briefed the president on the course of the tourist sector. Kountoura underlined the huge responsibility required to handle Greece's tourism that is a "national product."

International tourism fair opens in Nis on Thursday
NIS - The International Fair of Tourism and Active Holiday starts on Thursday at the "Cair" sports center in Nis, said the organizer of the event, Tourism Organization of Nis (TON).
The show will feature holiday offers based on hiking tours and races, sailing, rafting, jeep safari, paragliding, caving, diving, mountain biking and free climbing.
Thousands flock to Cycladic Museum's "Hygeia" exhibition
More than 50,000 people have visited the exhibition at the Museum Cycladic "Hygeia: Health, Sickness and Treatment from Homer to Galen," that kicked off at the Museum of Cycladic Art on November 19. The display, set to run until May 31, has already met with a great deal of interest.
Winterfest to kick off on Mt. Kopaonik on Thursday
KOPAONIK - The Winterfest Ski & Wine Festival, an event in the fields of wine production, gastronomy, and wine tourism, will start on Mt. Kopaonik on Thursday and run through Sunday.

Van's ancient city in danger of vanishing
A 5,000-year-old ancient city on the shores of Lake Van is in danger of vanishing because it has not been taken under protection.
Bitlis Eren University academic Associated Professor Mehmet Demirta? said the ancient city was registered by the Culture and Tourism Ministry in 1986.

Montenegro Plans Showpiece Cable Car Route
