A town mayor in Spain defended his decision to hire strippers for a Christmas dinner for pensioners. Some elderly citizens of Loyola del Valle in Madrid were surprised to see female naked dancers appear at a dinner organised for them by the town’s mayor, Jose Manuel Jimenez. Embarrassed by the strippers dancing between the tables some the old folk were forced to leave the dinner.
Austrian Police To Give Out 6,000 Alarms Free-of-Charge
The Austrian police intend to distribute 6,000 pocket-size alarms in order to prevent attempts at sexual harassment.
"This is a nation-wide operation which will be carried out on the occasion of the celebrations at the end of the year and is intended mainly for women," announced an Interior Ministry representative, cited by AFP.
A hard year for art in İzmir

HIV positive women finally acquitted of charges
An Athens court on Friday exonerated 11 HIV positive women, three of whom have died, of the charge of intentionally infecting people while allegedly working as prostitutes.
The prosecutor at the trial said there was no evidence to suggest the women worked as prostitutes nor that they had unprotected sex with people, with the exception one of the defendants.

Buenos Aires fines public sex harassment
Authorities in the Argentinian capital will fine people up to $60 for sexual harassment in public places under a new law.
The bill was passed in the city legislature on Dec. 7 in Buenos Aires, where casual sexual harassment is common and traditionally widely tolerated.
